I want you to be happy with your purchase. As a one-person shop, I work hard to make every order of the highest quality, and something you’d cherish. There are those times however, when a shipment gets damaged, or something just didn’t meet expectations. Below is my return policy.

Dear Customer,

I want you to be excited, anticipating the receipt of your order. I take pride in the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of everything I create. And the same goes for products I don’t make. My attention to detail in design, material, and archival preservation is unyielding, and so is my commitment to customer satisfaction.

Having said all of that…things happen. If something goes wrong where you’re not happy with your purchase for any reason at all, just get in touch and we’ll work with you to find a solution.

Please note, there are things like shipping, gift wrapping, or when personalization has been made, that make an item non-refundable. The cost for return shipping is your responsibility. In addition, commissioned products are not refundable. If they are damaged during shipping, at no fault of your own, I reserve the right to replace the item with a similar item. In the event of irreplaceable items, I insure items for the retail value, and a claim would need to be filed.

Below are specific details regarding returns and refunds related to various products and services. And as always, if there are any questions, just reach out.



Standard Products

For products like non-vintage pens, pencils, non-vitage, or non-customized sketchbooks and journals, and other items that are not crafted by Nate Sullivan, there is a 100% refundable policy. Upon receipt of the returned item (damaged or undamaged), a credit will be applied to the payment method used, including any tax paid at the time of the original purchase.

Shipping charges for the returned item, are the responsibility of the customer. However upon receipt of the returned item, any charges that were applied for shipping, will be refunded.

Custom Products

For custom, hand-made products that arrive damage free are non-refundable or returnable. This includes commissions, where approval is fully made by the customer prior to shipping. The item is not shipped until approved. Any item shipped will be insured against lost, stolen or damage, and if they arrive (or don’t arrive due to one or more of those situations), we can look at replacement or refund options once we’ve filed the claim.

Digital Products

Refunds may be granted, if you are unhappy with the digital files, or the products didn’t meet your expectations, upon agreement that you’ve destroyed, and deleted the original files, and you’ve chosen to not use those files in any way. Any use of the files after the refund is a copyright breach and will be handled as stolen goods, or copyright infringement.

Antique & Vintage Items

There are not refunds or returns for antique and vintage items. All items are sold, as-is. In the event the item purchased arrives damaged, an insurance claim will be submitted. I also do not make any guarantee as to the authenticity of the item. We make every effort in the listing to be clear what we know and don’t know so that you can make your own informed decision; however all antique and vintage items are sold as decorative items and not for collecting or investment purposes. This includes items clearly marked as vintage.
